With advanced degrees in chiropractic, nursing, and advanced practice nursing, Nathan brings a unique, multidisciplinary perspective to patient care.

    Over the course of his career, Nathan has worked in a variety of settings, including private practice, family services, and behavioral health facilities. His expertise spans medication management, psychiatric evaluations, and teaching clinical skills, reflecting his dedication to advancing patient-centered mental health care.

  • De-Shaunah Dixon, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC

    De-Shaunah Dixon is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner dedicated to empowering individuals on their journey to mental wellness. Originally from sunny Florida, she takes a holistic approach to care, focusing on treating the whole person—not just their symptoms. Her mission is to create a supportive, compassionate environment where patients feel confident and heard as they work toward their mental health goals.

    De-Shaunah’s academic journey reflects her commitment to excellence in mental health care. She earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Nursing and Sociology from Florida Atlantic University before pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health. Her passion for advancing psychiatric care led her to complete a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP), where she focused on improving outcomes for individuals seeking mental health support.

    In her practice, De-Shaunah tailors treatment plans to each patient’s unique needs, experiences, and aspirations. Combining evidence-based care with a patient-centered philosophy, she empowers individuals to take an active role in their mental health journey.

  • Janet M. Bock, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC,

    Jan Bock brings over four decades of dedication and expertise to her role as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Dually certified in Family Practice and Psychiatry, Jan has focused on mental health since earning her Master of Science in Nursing from UNMC in 2005. Her journey in nursing began in 1979, spanning multiple healthcare settings and enriching her ability to treat a wide range of behavioral health diagnoses.

    A lifelong Nebraskan, Jan grew up on a farm in Southeast Nebraska, where her deep-rooted connection to agriculture began. Today, she continues to honor those ties while embracing her passions: gardening, traveling, cooking, spending time with her adult children, and caring for her beloved Pembroke Welsh Corgis.

    In her psychiatric practice, Jan specializes in diagnosing and treating conditions such as depression, anxiety, insomnia, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and trauma. She sees patients aged 10 to 99, offering care in person or via telehealth, based on their preference. Beyond medication management, Jan provides alternative therapies, including Hypnosis and Accelerated Resolution Therapy, for those seeking non-traditional treatment options.

    Jan approaches every patient with compassion, recognizing the uniqueness of their story. She is committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where individuals feel heard and supported. Her ultimate goal is simple yet profound: to help people live better lives.

  • Brennan Winkler, RN

    Brennan Winkler is a compassionate psychiatric nurse with years of experience supporting individuals on their mental health journeys. Known for building strong, empathetic connections with patients, Brennan combines thoughtful, evidence-based care with a deep understanding of each person’s unique needs.

    Currently completing Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) training at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC), Brennan is set to become a board-certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in 2025. Beginning in June 2025, Brennan will begin seeing patients, continuing a commitment to providing empowering, patient-centered care.

    Brennan’s approach is grounded in listening to each patient’s story and collaborating on tailored treatment plans that prioritize their goals and well-being. By fostering a safe, supportive space, Brennan ensures patients feel heard, understood, and confident in their journey toward mental wellness.

    As Brennan prepares to embark on this next chapter, the same dedication and compassion that have defined their career will continue to guide their work, making a positive impact in the community.
